Deteksi Dini Autisme: Pembekalan untuk Guru di Kota Depok

Deteksi dini autisme adalah hal yang sangat penting agar anak mendapatkan intervensi secara dini. Namun keterbatasan akses informasi menyebabkan banyak orangtua dan guru yang belum mengetahui cara melakukan deteksi dini autisme. Hal ini berdampak pada keterlambatan intervensi, sehingga anak disekolahkan dalam kondisi belum siap. Kondisi ini mempengaruhi proses belajar mengajar di sekolah. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi melalui pembekalan kepada guru disekolah reguler dilingkungan Kota Depok tentang Deteksi dini Autisme. Metode meliputi ceramah, diskusi, dan simulasi wawancara deteksi dini autisme. Sebanyak lebih kurang 90 orang guru mengikuti pembekalan ini. Setelah pembekalan ini melalui wawancara dengan beberapa guru, mereka menyampaikan bahwa mereka sudah bisa menerapkan tahapan deteksi dini Autisme yang diberikan pada pembekalan. Beberapa anak dirujuk kepada professional untuk mendapatkan penanganan lebih lanjut. Dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperoleh dari pembekalan ini, diharapkan guru-guru dapat menjadi garda terdepan dan berkontribusi dalam melakukan deteksi dini pada anak-anak autisi, terutama saat penerimaan siswa baru. Pembekalan ini sangat penting untuk dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan diseluruh Indonesia, agar dari sekolah dapat dilakukan deteksi dini Autisme
