Edukasi Partisipatif Pencegahan Stunting dan Wasting untuk Meningkatkan Pengetahuan Ibu Balita di Desa Rumpet, Kabupaten Aceh Besar, Provinsi Aceh

Stunting dan wasting merupakan masalah berisiko tinggi terjadi pada balita di Desa Rumpet Kabupaten Aceh Besar, Provinsi Aceh. kurangnya tingkat pengetahuan dan kesadaran ibu balita tentang stunting dan wasting serta terbatasnya monitoring terhadap pertumbuhan balita, dapat menjadi penyebab risiko ini meningkat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, kesadaran melakukan monitoring pertumbuhan anak, serta mendorong perilaku kunjungan posyandu secara rutin. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pra kegiatan (observasi dan pre-test), kegiatan inti (edukasi partisipatif dengan audiovisual, diskusi dan simulasi kasus), serta pasca kegiatan (post-test dan wawancara reflektif). Sasaran kegiatan adalah 27 ibu balita. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan kategori baik dari 37 % menjadi 59 %. Kegiatan memberikan dampak positif berupa perubahan perilaku peningkatan minat kunjungan posyandu dan meningkatnya kesadaran untuk memantau pertumbuhan balita. Edukasi dan monitoring yang berkesinambungan sangat penting untuk upaya pencegahan stunting dan wasting.
