Peningkatan Kompetensi Energi Terbarukan melalui Pelatihan dan Implementasi PLTS Berbasis Project-Based Learning di SMK YAPPIKA Kabupaten Tangerang, Provinsi Banten

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di SMK YAPPIKA Tangerang untuk mengatasi keterbatasan sarana praktik dan rendahnya pengalaman peserta didik dalam instalasi sistem Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS). Data awal menunjukkan rata-rata pemahaman siswa sebesar 57,1 dan keterampilan praktik sebesar 50,6, serta 80% siswa belum pernah melakukan instalasi PLTS secara langsung. Kegiatan bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dan guru melalui pelatihan berbasis proyek, penyediaan trainer PLTS, dan penyusunan modul ajar. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah interaktif, demonstrasi, praktik langsung, serta evaluasi menggunakan pre-test, post-test, rubrik keterampilan, dan angket sikap skala Likert 4 tingkat. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 15 siswa dan 3 guru produktif. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata pengetahuan dari 57,1 menjadi 81,2 dengan tingkat ketuntasan 89%. Keterampilan praktik meningkat dari 50,6 menjadi 68,9, namun ketuntasan baru mencapai 39% karena keterbatasan durasi latihan. Luaran kegiatan berupa satu set trainer PLTS dan modul pembelajaran yang digunakan secara berkelanjutan dalam praktik di sekolah. Program ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan literasi energi terbarukan, penguatan pembelajaran berbasis praktik, serta peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam implementasi PLTS. Keterbatasan kegiatan terletak pada waktu pelatihan yang singkat sehingga diperlukan program lanjutan untuk pemerataan keterampilan peserta.
