Abstrak

Penguatan karakter mental remaja merupakan isu penting dalam konteks pendidikan menengah, khususnya di tengah tekanan akademis yang semakin kompleks, tuntutan prestasi, dan tantangan sosial. Remaja SMA berada pada tahap perkembangan yang rentan terhadap stres dan krisis kepercayaan diri, sehingga memerlukan intervensi yang mendukung ketahanan mental dan motivasi belajar. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat karakter mental siswa melalui intervensi pendidikan berbasis pola pikir berkembang di SMAN 2 Kuala, Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Metode yang digunakan adalah lokakarya partisipatif yang dirancang interaktif dan kontekstual. Kegiatan ini mencakup presentasi konseptual tentang perbedaan antara pola pikir tetap dan pola pikir berkembang, diskusi reflektif berdasarkan pengalaman siswa, simulasi perubahan sikap terhadap kegagalan, dan latihan interaktif untuk menumbuhkan keberanian mencoba dan ketekunan dalam belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang perbedaan antara kedua pola pikir tersebut, pergeseran perspektif mereka tentang kegagalan sebagai peluang belajar, dan peningkatan kepercayaan diri dalam menghadapi tantangan akademis. Pendekatan ini merupakan intervensi yang praktis, berdampak, namun mudah dipahami untuk membangun ketahanan mental remaja dan direkomendasikan untuk direplikasi secara berkelanjutan sebagai bagian dari penguatan pendidikan karakter di sekolah.
