Abstrak

Keterbatasan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di tingkat sekolah menengah pertama menyebabkan rendahnya literasi teknologi siswa. SMP Kanisius Wonosari merupakan salah satu sekolah yang belum memiliki kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di bidang robotika dan elektronika, sehingga siswa memiliki keterbatasan pengalaman dalam memahami teknologi secara aplikatif. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi teknologi siswa melalui pelatihan coding dan robotika berbasis Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Metode yang digunakan adalah pembelajaran berbasis proyek melalui dua kegiatan utama, yaitu pemrograman berbasis block menggunakan robot Codey Rocky dan praktik robot soccer berbasis Arduino. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 20 siswa kelas VII yang dibagi dalam beberapa kelompok untuk meningkatkan kolaborasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu memahami konsep dasar pemrograman, meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis, serta menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan minat siswa terhadap bidang teknologi dan robotika. Dampak kegiatan ini terlihat pada peningkatan kemampuan dasar pemrograman, kemampuan berpikir logis, serta meningkatnya minat siswa terhadap teknologi dan robotika sebagai bidang pembelajaran lanjutan. Dengan demikian, pelatihan berbasis pendekatan Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics ini efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi teknologi siswa dan dapat menjadi alternatif model pembelajaran inovatif di tingkat sekolah menengah pertama.
