Abstrak

Guru Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) memiliki peran strategis namun kompleks dalam mendampingi Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK), termasuk membantu aktivitas fisik siswa secara langsung selama pembelajaran. Keterbatasan pengetahuan guru terkait prinsip terapi latihan yang aman dan efektif menjadi hambatan dalam optimalisasi layanan pendidikan bagi ABK. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru SLB dalam menerapkan terapi latihan sederhana, khususnya latihan protective extension (parachute reflex), guna mendukung fungsi gerak ABK dalam konteks pembelajaran. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Februari 2026 di SLB B YPALB Perwari, Kabupaten Kuningan, Jawa Barat, dengan melibatkan 44 peserta yang terdiri dari guru, orang tua murid, dosen, dan mahasiswa Program Studi S1 Fisioterapi Universitas Muhammadiyah Kuningan, melalui metode sharing session, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta secara keseluruhan, dengan rata-rata persentase jawaban benar meningkat dari 72,3% pada pre-test menjadi 94,7% pada post-test dan kemampuan peserta menerapkan terapi latihan sederhana dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar sehari-hari
